You can look around without an account. To save places, make guides and recommend them, you need a free account: with email, Apple or Google.

- We ask
- Only when you start an import yourself: one read-only permission for your saved places and lists (the “dataportability.saved.collections” scope).
- We use it
- To read your saved Google Maps lists once and turn them into guides in your Be My Guest account. Nothing else.
- We never
- Touch your Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or Maps history. We keep no copy of the export and delete the access token as soon as the import is done.
- You can
- Take back our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
Signing in with Google
- We get
- When you choose “Sign in with Google”: your name, email address and profile picture.
- We use it
- To create and recognise your account, so you need no extra password, and to email you about your account.
- We never
- Post anything to your Google account.
We never sell your Google data, never use it for advertising and never use it to train AI models. Be My Guest’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
